Hello, I'm Jirao
I’m currently studying Product Design at Pasadena ArtCenter, curiosity and a love for everyday frictions spark my ideas. I thrive on turning these small annoyances into playful, meaningful solutions. My process always starts with research and observation, because great design comes from truly understanding users. I’m inspired by bold geometry, dynamic CMF, and spatial interactions.

ARTCENTER BERLIN
During my three-month study experience in Berlin, I became deeply immersed in German design and culture. Beyond the Bauhaus and Ulm traditions, I encountered a more nuanced side of German design, one that carries humor, self-awareness, and a distinct sensitivity in everyday design practice. Collaborating with a brilliant German interior and installation artist to develop an installation concept was an especially joyful experience.

Inspirations
Outside product design, I am inspired by architectures, sculptures and art.
Antoni Gaudí and the Catalan Modernist Style provides a rich perspective on how form can be expressive, functional, and symbolic all at once.
